What to expect?
Upon arrival your dog will be fitted with a life jacket. They are never on the own in the pool and one of the hydrotherapists will be with your dog at all times.
We do encourage the owner to be present at each session for praise and treats so your dog can feels safe in this new environment.
At the end of each 30 minute appointment your dog will receive a shampoo and dry off.
Important: If your a dog has had surgery it’s very important that your vet has given you the ok to start therapy.

We also offer swimming classes and puppy introductions to water. Anyone is welcome to bring their dog to take part in hydrotherapy or come through your vets recommendation.

Canine water therapy is an excellent low impact form of exercise for your dog. It is good for overall fitness, improving body condition, and your dog’s wellbeing.
The beautiful thing about swimming is that the buoyancy of water supports the dog which reduces stress on joints. The resistance of the water helps build fitness, increase muscle mass and improve mobility and flexibility.
The pool is heated to the optimum temperature of 30 degrees which increases blood flow and helps alleviate aches and pains.

To ensure you and your pet have the best experience, please arrive approximately 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This allows you to take your dog for a quick walk and go toilet before entering the building; If you are late, your time will need to be shortened if there is a booking after your session. Please wait outside the pool door and Mandy will invite you in when she has finished with her current client. Any cancellations less then 24hrs before your booked appointment will still be charged the full rate of you appointment.
